Understanding Trauma Support.
You may be struggling to process deeply distressing events—such as abuse, accidents, violence, natural disasters, or loss—that threaten their physical or emotional safety. You may be experiencing anxiety, intrusive memories, emotional numbness, avoidance, mood changes, sleep difficulties, and a persistent sense of feeling unsafe or overwhelmed.
Sessions focus on building trust and emotional safety before discussing difficult memories and triggers. I will help with Understanding trauma responses, Regulation skills, Processing and integration as well as Empowerment.
Beginning trauma counseling can feel vulnerable, but you will not have to face it alone. We will move at a pace that feels safe for you, with care, respect, and compassion.
